Miss SAKE 2017Miss SAKE, the annual contest to find an ambassador for Japan which will present and market sake but also Japanese culture and history to different countries all around the world.
18 finalists from throughout Japan made up for the title. The winner that was crowned Miss Sake 2017 was Miss Rino Tanaka from Aichi Prefecture located in the Chubu region.

This was the third time lucky for Miss Tanaka to attend the Miss Sake contest in Aichi. This time she won not only prefecture finals but also the entire race when she became the winner in Kyoto.
Miss Tanaka is very thankful to a Mr. Kuramoto who gave her a possibility to learn more about sake, from the manufacturing process and methods to how to test good sake. But she also got valuable opportunities to learn how to present sake when she now will be Sake Ambassador for Japan.
